We are… Here To Sing!
We are an inclusive, accessible, non-audition choir in NYC that sings a wide variety of songs from the 50s to today. Our choir is comprised of adults of all backgrounds and experience levels. Here to Sing was co-founded in 2019. We’re proud of this supportive environment for all skill levels and our focus on community and making that bond stronger through music.
Our 100+ member choir includes adults of all backgrounds and experience. We cultivate a supportive environment for a range of musical skill levels and help members solidify their confidence whether they can read music or not. Our strength is our focus on community and making that bond stronger through music.
Our music directors have taught over 100 popular songs since the choir’s origin, everything from Lady Gaga and Chappell Roan to Billy Joel and a Taylor Swift Medley. We cultivate a supportive environment for a range of musical skill levels and provide listening materials to help members solidify their confidence whether or not they can read music.
In addition to weekly rehearsals, we have a vibrant social community that covers all of the interests of our membership. We rehearse Tuesdays evenings 7-9pm near Madison Square Garden, and perform seasonally. Our seasons typically begin in January, May and September.
